Yup. It’s shit . Ham-Fisted is the word that comes to mind. The visual effects, the action, the editing (jump cuts are making my eyes twitch), camera work- tone, contrast, hue, sound, acting, characters, dialog, plot, “humor”.

Hopefully the new Bumblebee movie redeems this clusterfuck of a franchise. It was my excitement after seeing the trailer due to which I decided to watch this. Big Mistake but I am going to power thru

Finally got a round to seeing this recently, too. I enjoy Bay’s signature cinematic look, but the movie still felt empty of substance (what else is new) and was hard to get through. The whole Optimus/Nemesis thing was distractingly unconvincing, and the only joke that I actually found funny was Bumblebee’s new voice module from Daytrader.
